my first blog

i have been thinking of blogging for a long time now. i could never decide whether or not to do it. at times i was put-off by lines such as 'blogging is nothing but washing your dirty linen in public'. and at other times i saw it as a chronicle of my life. of my thoughts. of my views. of everything that goes on in my head. can thoughts be recorded into words by some device. how does hawking (stephen) do it? how good would it be if i could use the same technology to turn everything going-on in my head to text or better still video. for graphics do accompany thoughts. and then index all text and video and make a giant book of my life.... far fetched....
